ROLE OVERVIEW: Executes the on-page and technical SEO programme across websites. Works closely with the Head of Digital Marketing on keyword strategy and with content and development teams on implementation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct keyword research and map target terms to URLs across site structures.

Perform full on-page optimisation: title tags, meta descriptions, heading hierarchy, internal linking, image alt text, and schema markup.

Run regular technical SEO audits using tools such as Screaming Frog, SEMrush, or Ahrefs. Triage and brief development teams on crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals, and structured data issues. + Monitor and report keyword rankings weekly. Identify movement, cannibalization, and prospect gaps.

Brief content requirements based on search intent analysis and gap identification.

Maintain and optimise Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4, tracking impressions, CTR, and organic sessions.

Support landing page builds with SEO requirements including URL structure, H1 strategy, and page speed considerations.

Stay current with algorithm updates and adjust on-page strategy accordingly.

Requirements: 2 to 4 years of SEO experience. Proficiency with Screaming Frog, SEMrush or Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and GA4. Solid understanding of HTML and CSS basics. Solid analytical and reporting skills.
