SEO Specialist (Local & Service-Based SEO)

Are you passionate about driving traffic and improving website rankings for local and service-based businesses? Do you have a knack for on-page SEO and a solid understanding of backlinking? If so, we want to hear from you!

What We Need From You

To improve our website rankings, increase traffic, and drive conversions for a combination of client sites, our agency site, and our rank and rent sites, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting keyword research to identify valuable local search terms.
• Performing competitor research to stay ahead of the game.
• Creating topical authority maps to guide content strategy for local services.
• Working in Google Search Console to fix any flagged issues.
• Optimising site conversion rates.
• Developing and executing backlink creation strategies.
• Utilising blogs, content silos, and interlinking to build topical authority on site.
• Installing and setting up Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager (preferred but not essential).

• WordPress web design
• Graphic design

Note: We can work with other tools if it does not compromise the quality of SEO.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll work closely with me to serve a range of local and service-based clients. You’ll be expected to provide daily reports, install our work tracking software, and record your working hours on Time Doctor. Payment will only be made for hours lodged in Hubstaff.

Requirements

Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or in a similar role.

In-depth knowledge of on-page SEO techniques and best practices for local and service-based businesses.

Good understanzding of backlinking strategies and tools.

Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SE Ranking, Mangools, Frase, and Rankmath.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Detail-oriented with strong organisational and project management abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Payment And Employment Details

Payment will be through Wise (AUD).

Payment will initially be made weekly - invoice on a Friday to be paid on the Monday.

Potential for salary once proven.

You must lodge your working hours on Time Doctor, and payment will only be made for hours lodged.
