Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and certified Senior Virtual Cloud Engineer with strong expertise in Red Hat OpenStack and Red Hat OpenShift environments. The candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, managing, and optimizing private and hybrid cloud infrastructure environments while ensuring high availability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate should possess deep technical expertise in virtualization, cloud orchestration, container platforms, Linux administration, and enterprise cloud operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, administer, and support Red Hat OpenStack and OpenShift environments.
• Manage cloud infrastructure including compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and container platforms.
• Monitor cloud platform performance, availability, and capacity planning.
• Implement and maintain high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and backup strategies.
• Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for cloud infrastructure issues.
• Manage Kubernetes container orchestration and OpenShift clusters.
• Support cloud automation, orchestration, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) initiatives.
• Work closely with DevOps, application, security, and infrastructure teams for cloud integration and deployment activities.
• Implement cloud security policies, patch management, and compliance controls.
• Optimize cloud resource utilization, performance tuning, and operational efficiency.
• Handle upgrades, migrations, patching, and lifecycle management of cloud environments.
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, architecture diagrams, and operational reports.
• Provide L2/L3 support for cloud infrastructure and virtualization environments.

• Experience with scripting languages such as Bash or Python is preferred.
