ROLE SUMMARY

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Specialist – Cyber Security to join our Hyderabad team in a dual-track role combining Presales solutioning and Implementation delivery. The successful candidate will own technical conversations with enterprise customers, design fit-for-purpose security architectures across our partner stack (Trellix, Check Point, Tenable, Array Networks, OpenText, Motadata, JISA, ForgeRock), prepare BOQs and proposals, and lead on-ground deployment and customer hand-over. This role is critical to growing Microcare’s Cyber Security Practice across BFSI, Government, Healthcare and Enterprise accounts in South India.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Presales & Solution Design

  • Partner with the Sales team to qualify cyber security opportunities, conduct customer discovery workshops and translate business requirements into technical solution designs.
  • Design end-to-end security architectures covering SOC (SIEM/DAM/EDR-DLP), Identity & Access Management, Network Security (NGFW, WAF, SLB, Anti-DDoS), Application Security (SAST/DAST), Vulnerability Management, HSM and IT Operations Monitoring (APM/NMS/ITSM).
  • Prepare BOQs, technical proposals, compliance matrices, High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents responding to enterprise and government RFPs / RFIs / EOIs.
  • Drive Proof-of-Concept (POC) engagements, product demos, technical workshops and customer presentations alongside OEM partners.
  • Own technical sizing, license calculations and Bill-of-Materials for opportunities involving Trellix SIEM/DAM/DLP, Check Point NGFW, Tenable VA, Array Networks WAF/SLB/Anti-DDoS, OpenText Fortify, Motadata ITSM/APM/NMS, JISA HSM and ForgeRock IAM.
  • Liaise with OEM SEs and distribution partners to secure best-fit configurations, special pricing and deal-registration approvals.

Implementation & Delivery

  • Lead on-site and remote implementation of security solutions across customer environments – installation, configuration, integration, fine-tuning and go-live.
  • Deploy and operationalise SIEM environments using Trellix – log source onboarding, parser/connector configuration, correlation rule and use-case build-out, dashboard and report design.
  • Implement Trellix Endpoint Security with DLP and Database Activity Monitoring (DAM) – policy definition, classification, incident workflow and reporting.
  • Configure and harden Check Point NGFW deployments including policy migration, clustering, VPN, IPS and threat-prevention tuning.
  • Deploy Array Networks WAF (5G), Server Load Balancer and Anti-DDoS solutions – virtual server configuration, SSL offloading, application policies and mitigation profiles.
  • Roll-out Tenable Vulnerability Assessment scans, schedule cycles, integrate with ITSM workflows and produce remediation reports for customers.
  • Configure OpenText Fortify SAST/DAST scans, integrate with customer CI/CD pipelines and support remediation guidance.
  • Stand-up Motadata ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Release, Ticketing), APM and EMS/NMS modules and integrate with customer infrastructure.
  • Integrate JISA HSM with customer PKI, payment and signing applications; assist in key-ceremony procedures and compliance audits.
  • Deploy ForgeRock IAM components covering authentication, authorisation, SSO, MFA and identity lifecycle workflows.
  • Prepare As-Built Documents, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Test Plans and customer hand-over packs; conduct customer training and knowledge-transfer sessions.

Customer & Practice Engagement

  • Act as the trusted technical advisor for assigned customer accounts and support the Account Managers in account-growth conversations.
  • Support post-implementation L2/L3 escalations, work with OEM TAC and ensure timely resolution within SLA.
  • Contribute to Microcare’s Cyber Security Practice through reusable solution templates, reference architectures, internal enablement and certifications.
  • Stay current on threat trends, regulatory mandates (RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, CERT-In, DPDP Act, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS) and OEM roadmap updates.

TECHNOLOGY STACK & VENDOR EXPERTISE

The selected candidate is expected to have working hands-on expertise across the following vendor portfolio that Microcare delivers to its customers.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Mandatory Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication or related Engineering discipline (B.E. / B.Tech / MCA).
  • 7 to 9 years of full-time experience in cyber security solutioning, presales and implementation – ideally with a System Integrator, OEM or Managed Security Services
  • provider. Demonstrable hands-on experience on at least 4 of the listed solution areas – SIEM, DLP/Endpoint, NGFW, WAF/SLB/Anti-DDoS, VA, IAM, HSM, ITSM/APM/NMS, SAST/DAST.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing, switching, TLS/PKI, Windows & Linux server administration, virtualization and cloud (AWS / Azure) fundamentals.
  • Proven track record of preparing BOQs, technical proposals, HLDs/LLDs and responding to large enterprise / government RFPs.
  • Excellent written and spoken English; working proficiency in Telugu and/or Hindi preferred for customer interactions across Telangana & Andhra Pradesh.
  • Willingness to work full-time on-site at Microcare’s Hyderabad office with occasional customer-site travel.
