We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Software Test Engineer with 8+ years of professional experience in manual software testing. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of product functionality, excellent analytical skills to grasp customer requirements quickly, and the ability to design and execute precise and effective test cases. This role requires close collaboration with product, development, and QA teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet user expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze product specifications and customer requirements to develop comprehensive test strategies.
• Design, write, and maintain accurate and detailed test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
• Execute manual PLC test cases, log defects, and track them through resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UX designers to ensure complete test coverage and high-quality deliverables.
• Participate in sprint planning, requirement analysis, and reviews to contribute from a testing perspective.
• Perform various types of testing including functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Maintain test documentation and provide timely status reports on testing activities and outcomes.
• Continuously enhance test processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8 years of hands-on experience in software testing (Manual Testing).
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Proven ability to understand complex product workflows and quickly translate requirements into test cases.
• Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Red Mine).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality results.
• Familiarity with Waterfall methodologies.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
