Senior SAP ABAP Consultant (8+ Yrs Experience) - Immediate Joiners

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior SAP ABAP Consultant (8+ years of experience), based in Kochi. The consultant will design, develop, and optimize SAP ABAP solutions, including custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms, aligned with business requirements. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering technical requirements, writing and reviewing code, performing unit and integration testing, and supporting SAP modules in collaboration with functional consultants. The role involves troubleshooting complex issues in existing developments, ensuring performance optimization, and maintaining adherence to SAP best practices and development standards. The consultant will also participate in code reviews, documentation, and mentoring of junior team members, while working closely with stakeholders to deliver high-quality, timely solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong SAP ABAP development skills in ALV Reports and related custom reporting tools.
• Hands-on experience with enhancement frameworks, including User Exits and related customization techniques.
• Proficiency in integration technologies such as BAPI and IDoc for building and supporting interfaces.
• Solid knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts within SAP ABAP, including classes, methods, and advanced design patterns.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant SAP ABAP experience, with exposure to multiple SAP modules (e.g., FI, MM, SD).
• Experience in performance tuning, debugging, and optimizing complex ABAP programs.
• Ability to translate functional specifications into robust technical solutions and clear documentation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Immediate availability to join and work hybrid in Bangalore.
