About the Role

ART Technology and Software is seeking a talented Senior QA Engineer with strong expertise in FinTech, Banking, and Payment Systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability, and scalability of mission-critical financial platforms through a combination of manual testing, automation, and modern quality engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and test cases.
• Perform Manual, Automation, API, Database, and Performance Testing.
• Validate end-to-end payment processing workflows, including authorization, settlement, refunds, chargebacks, and reconciliations.
• Conduct Reconciliation and Settlement Testing to ensure financial accuracy and transaction integrity.
• Test payment gateway integrations and transaction processing systems.
• Build and maintain automation frameworks and test suites.
• Perform database validation and data reconciliation using SQL.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders in Agile environments.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Identify, document, and track defects through closure.

Mandatory Skills

6+ years of QA experience

Strong experience in FinTech, Banking, or Payments Domain

Hands-on expertise in

• Manual Testing
• Automation Testing
• API Testing
• Database Testing (SQL)
• Performance Testing

Strong knowledge of

• Payment Processing Systems
• Transaction Validation
• Reconciliation Testing
• Settlement Testing
• Chargeback Processing

Experience with

• Selenium / Playwright / Cypress
• Postman / Rest Assured
• JMeter or equivalent performance testing tools
• CI/CD Pipelines
• Agile/Scrum Methodologies

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Mutation Testing and Quality Engineering practices.
• Understanding of Financial Back-office Operations.
• Experience in high-volume transaction environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Key Hiring Criteria

FinTech / Banking / Payments experience is mandatory

Strong Payments Back-office knowledge

Hands-on experience in Reconciliation Settlement Testing

Good understanding of Chargebacks and Dispute Management

Strong API, Database, and Automation Testing expertise

Experience validating mission-critical financial transactions

Ability to work independently and drive quality initiatives
