Senior Mobile Developer (BLE / IoT Integration Android,

iOS & React Native)

Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior Mobile Developer with robust BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) integration experience

across Android and iOS, with exposure to React Native, to work on our Remote Patient Monitoring (RPM) platform.

The role involves end-to-end integration of wearable/medical devices, real-time data acquisition, and ensuring

reliable connectivity in both foreground and background scenarios. BLE/device integration will primarily be handled

at the native layer, with React Native used for cross-platform application integration.

Key Responsibilities

BLE Device Integration (End-to-End)

• Integrate BLE-enabled devices using GATT protocol, vendor SDKs/APIs, and hybrid approaches
• Handle device discovery, pairing, bonding, and connection lifecycle
• Manage data read/write/notify mechanisms

Cross-Platform Development

• Develop and maintain Android (Kotlin/Java) and iOS (Swift/CoreBluetooth) applications
• Ensure consistent BLE behavior across platforms

React Native Integration

• Work with React Native applications
• Develop native modules for BLE functionality
• Bridge native BLE logic with React Native UI

Real-Time Data Handling

• Parse device data such as HR, SpOn, RR, activity, and sleep
• Handle byte/hex parsing and data transformation

Background Connectivity (Critical)

• Ensure BLE works in foreground and background modes
• Implement auto-reconnect and handle OS-level constraints

API & Communication

• Integrate REST APIs and WebSockets for real-time communication

Must-Have Skills

• Android (Kotlin/Java) and iOS (Swift/CoreBluetooth)
• Hands-on BLE integration (GATT + SDK)
• BLE communication flow and lifecycle handling
• Byte/hex data parsing
• Background BLE communication and reconnection logic .
