Position Overview

HR Interface Recruitment Consulting is hiring a Senior Microsoft Fabric Engineer / Enterprise Data Platform Architect for one of our rapidly growing global technology clients.

This is a high-impact consulting and architecture role focused on designing, building, and delivering enterprise-scale Microsoft Fabric solutions for multiple enterprise customers across industries.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in modern cloud data engineering, Microsoft Fabric, Lakehouse architecture, enterprise analytics, and AI-enabled reporting while being comfortable engaging directly with client stakeholders to understand business requirements, recommend scalable technical solutions, and lead enterprise implementations.

We are specifically looking for professionals who have successfully architected enterprise data platforms for multiple external customers rather than supporting only singular organizations. Candidates should be comfortable working across the complete data lifecycle—from ingestion and transformation through governance, visualization, automation, and AI-powered analytics.

Role & Responsibilities

Enterprise Data Platform Architecture

• Architect and implement enterprise-scale Microsoft Fabric solutions for multiple enterprise customers.
• Design modern Lakehouse and Data Warehouse architectures using Microsoft Fabric and Medallion Architecture principles.
• Build scalable enterprise analytics platforms capable of supporting high-volume reporting and AI workloads.
• Design highly optimized enterprise data models for reporting, analytics, and decision support.
• Eliminate reporting latency through efficient pipeline architecture and Direct Lake implementation.
• Ensure solutions adhere to enterprise architecture, governance, scalability, and performance standards.

Data Engineering & Modern Analytics

• Design and develop scalable enterprise data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric.
• Integrate structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data from multiple enterprise applications including ERP, CRM, Finance, Manufacturing, Retail platforms, APIs, databases, and cloud applications.
• Develop scalable PySpark and Spark SQL notebooks for enterprise data transformation.
• Build reusable semantic models enabling self-service analytics across business functions.
• Optimize SQL queries, DAX calculations, and reporting models for enterprise-scale performance.

Power BI, Business Intelligence & AI

• Design intuitive, executive-level Power BI dashboards and enterprise reporting solutions.
• Translate complex business requirements into highly scalable analytics products.
• Develop AI-powered reporting capabilities using Microsoft Fabric AI features.
• Build intelligent self-service analytics solutions that empower business users.
• Enhance executive decision-making through advanced analytics, automation, and AI-enabled business intelligence.

Governance, Security & DevOps

• Implement enterprise governance standards including Row-Level Security (RLS), Object-Level Security (OLS), and Dataset Certification.
• Lead collaborative development using Power BI Projects (.PBIP), Git Integration, and enterprise version control.
• Manage CI/CD deployments across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments using Microsoft Fabric Deployment Pipelines and ALM Toolkit.
• Maintain metadata consistency, semantic model governance, deployment quality, and enterprise compliance standards.

Automation & Engineering Excellence

• Develop Python-based automation for testing, validation, monitoring, and quality assurance.
• Automate data validation and lineage using Microsoft Fabric Notebooks and SemPy.
• Integrate Power Automate workflows for business alerts and operational monitoring.
• Continuously improve platform scalability, performance, automation, and operational efficiency.

Client Consulting & Stakeholder Management

• Engage directly with enterprise customers to understand business challenges and technical requirements.
• Conduct architecture discussions, technical workshops, and solution presentations with client stakeholders.
• Translate business objectives into scalable Microsoft Fabric and enterprise analytics solutions.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's/Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 4–8 years of experience in Enterprise Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, BI, Microsoft Data Platforms, or Cloud Data Engineering.
• Demonstrated experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale Microsoft Fabric implementations for external clients.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Direct Lake, Medallion Architecture, Lakehouse concepts, Data Warehousing, and Semantic Modelling.
• Advanced SQL, DAX, Python, PySpark, and Spark SQL skills.
• Experience implementing enterprise governance frameworks including RLS, OLS, metadata management, and deployment governance.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Power BI Projects (.PBIP), ALM Toolkit, CI/CD pipelines, and Microsoft Fabric Deployment Pipelines.
• Experience integrating AI capabilities into enterprise analytics environments will be highly preferred.
