Senior Global Cloud Engineer (Azure & AWS) Enterprise Platforms & Security

Location: Kondapur, Hyderabad

Working hours: Eastern Time

Required Experience: 5+ years

Responsibilities

Design & architect multicloud solutions across Azure and AWS for enterprisegrade applications.

Lead cloud operations and optimization, managing compute, storage, networking to ensure high availability and performance.

Drive cloud modernization by migrating legacy systems to cloudnative or hybrid architectures using containers, microservices, IaC.

Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform, ARM templates, or CloudFormation.

Embed security best practices in partnership with security teams, implementing identity management, network security, compliance controls, and threat mitigation.

Monitor and improve reliability by building observability frameworks with CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Datadog, or similar platforms.

Collaborate crossfunctionally with product, data, and engineering teams globally to enable scalable and secure cloud solutions.

Requirements

Experience

5+ years in cloud engineering or infrastructure roles.

Handson experience managing both Azure and AWS environments at scale.

Proven track record supporting large enterprise or global systems.

Technical Skills

Deep knowledge of Azure services (VMs, AKS, Networking, AD).

Strong experience with AWS services (EC2, EKS, S3, VPC, IAM).

Infrastructure as code expertise, preferably Terraform.

Containerization skills (Docker, Kubernetes).

CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Security Awareness

Working knowledge of cloud security principles (IAM, encryption, network security).

Familiarity with compliance frameworks (HIPAA, SOC 2, or similar).

Other Strengths

Strong problemsolving and system design skills.

Experience working in distributed/global teams.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or equivalent.

Experience with hybrid cloud or multicloud governance.

Exposure to healthcare, finance, or regulated industries.
