Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior GCP DevOps Engineer with deep hands-on expertise in GCP, Terraform, and Kubernetes/GKE. The candidate should have strong experience designing, implementing, and operating production-grade cloud infrastructure and should be capable of independently troubleshooting complex infrastructure and Kubernetes issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate scalable and highly available infrastructure on GCP.
• Own and manage production GKE/Kubernetes environments, including cluster architecture, workload scheduling, autoscaling, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Design and maintain scalable Terraform infrastructure using reusable modules and best practices.
• Manage GCP networking, including VPC, subnets, firewall rules, IAM, DNS, load balancing, and network security.
• Design and maintain CI/CD and deployment pipelines for applications and infrastructure.
• Implement infrastructure monitoring, logging, alerting, and production troubleshooting.
• Drive infrastructure reliability, scalability, security, and cost optimization.
• Identify and resolve complex Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure issues.
• Work closely with development, platform, and architecture teams to define and implement infrastructure solutions.
• Participate in technical decision-making and improve DevOps processes and standards.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps/Cloud Engineering.
• Deep hands-on experience with GCP in production environments.
• Strong Kubernetes/GKE expertise, including cluster-level troubleshooting and administration.
• Strong Terraform expertise, including reusable modules, state management, remote state, and infrastructure lifecycle management.
• Strong understanding of GCP services including GKE, Compute Engine, VPC, IAM, Cloud Storage, Cloud Load Balancing, and autoscaling.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking and troubleshooting.
• Experience with CI/CD and GitOps tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Cloud Build, or ArgoCD.
• Strong Docker and containerization experience.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Good scripting/automation skills using Python or Bash.

Key Focus Areas

GCP + Terraform + GKE depth must be strongly proven through hands-on production ownership, architecture decisions, troubleshooting, and implementation experience.
