Own an entire restaurant-analytics platform end-to-end — ship a database migration, a backend

service, and a polished mobile screen in the same day.Our client — a fast-growing

restaurant-analytics and consulting startup in Kolkata, founded by leaders from top e-commerce

companies and premier institutes — is hiring a founding-calibre Senior Full-Stack Engineer. This

is not a ticket-taker role that owns one layer and shrugs at the rest. You'll hold the whole platform

in your head and be trusted with the entire product.

About the Role

You will own the product end-to-end: a multi-service Node / Express + Sequelize

backend on PostgreSQL, a Vite + React + TypeScript frontend (a Framework7 mobile-first

customer app plus an admin console, packaged with Capacitor), a Gmail-OAuth data-ingestion

pipeline that turns raw platform statements into a reconciled financial "gold" layer, authentication

via Keycloak, and the billing, reporting, and notification subsystems on top. You'll design

schemas, write the queries, build the APIs, craft the UI, wire the deploys, and reason about the

finance logic that makes the numbers correct to the rupee. You are expected to make

architectural calls, not just implement them.

The AI-Augmented Edge Here, AI is your primary workforce. You'll use Claude Code, Cursor,

and Gemini to scaffold services, write and refactor across the stack, generate tests, and reason

about tricky data and finance logic — targeting a 3x-5x efficiency gain. You'll practise Cross-LLM

Validation: one model writes, another reviews for correctness and edge cases. Your value is

measured by working, correct, shipped product — features that reconcile, screens that delight,

deploys that hold — not lines or tickets.

What You'll Do

• Backend & Data: Design and build Node / Express services (customer, admin,

user-center, ingestion, aggregation) with clean boundaries. Own the schema, migrations,

and queries (Sequelize + raw SQL) across a 20+ table financial data model, from bronze

ingest to gold aggregates.

• Correctness to the Rupee: Implement and defend the finance logic — payouts,

reconciliation, ad-spend, taxes — where "almost right" is wrong; verify against source

data every time.

• Jobs, Caching & Integrations: Build background processing (BullMQ / Redis), report

generation (Puppeteer / exceljs), and third-party integrations (Razorpay billing, WhatsApp

/ Meta, Keycloak).

• Frontend & Mobile: Build the customer app (Framework7, mobile-first, React Query,

local-first Dexie) and the admin console with clean, reusable, strongly-typed components;

package and ship via Capacitor with real-device polish, responsive layout, and offline

behaviour.

• Dashboards & Reports: Turn dense financial data into fast, legible dashboards, filters,

and downloadable reports customers trust.

• Data Pipeline: Extend the Gmail-OAuth pipeline that fetches, parses, and normalises

Zomato / Swiggy statements (drift-tolerant, config-driven parsing). Own the aggregators

that roll raw orders into reconciled daily / weekly / monthly metrics — accurate,

idempotent, re-runnable.

• Delivery & Quality: Ship features from schema to deploy using a git-based deploy flow;

write meaningful tests (Vitest / Jest / node:test) and verify real output on real data; chase

bugs to root cause across the full stack.

• Ownership & Leadership: Make and defend architectural decisions; set code, review, and

documentation standards; mentor other engineers; and translate product and finance

requirements into correct, shippable software with leadership.

Must-Have

• 6-10 years shipping production web / mobile products end-to-end, owning both backend

and frontend.

• Deep Node.js / Express (or similar), REST API design, auth, and service architecture.
• Strong PostgreSQL — relational modelling, migrations, and non-trivial SQL (comfortable

in the database, not just an ORM).

• Production React + TypeScript, state / data management (React Query or similar), and

component architecture.

• Experience with data / finance / analytics-heavy products where accuracy and

reconciliation matter.

• A track record of taking features from design through deploy — and making architectural

decisions solo.

Should-Have

• Mobile / cross-platform delivery: Framework7, Capacitor, React Native, Flutter, or

equivalent.

• Data pipelines: ingestion / ETL, background jobs (BullMQ / Redis), batch / aggregation

logic.

• AWS deployment (EC2 / RDS / S3), git-based deploy flows, and basic ops.
• Integrations: OAuth (Gmail / Google), payments (Razorpay / Stripe), messaging

(WhatsApp / Meta), and auth systems (Keycloak).

• Comfortable in Agile / Scrum and close collaboration with product and leadership.

Good-to-Have

• Degree from a premier institute (IITs / NITs / BITS / IIITs) is a plus — strong shipped work

matters more.

• AI-augmented development using Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini as a core part of how

you build.

• Exposure to LLM-backed features (text-to-SQL analytics, LangGraph / agents).
• Domain experience in fintech, restaurant-tech, marketplace, or analytics products — or

other startups where you wore many hats.
