Senior Frontend Developer

Position Overview

Applix is looking for a highly skilled Senior React Developer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development of our OneSite Application. This role is ideal for an experienced front-end engineer with deep expertise in React.js, TypeScript, modern JavaScript, and enterprise web application development.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building scalable, high-performance, responsive web applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, integrating backend APIs, and delivering production-ready software in Agile environments. You will play a key role in designing front-end architecture, improving application performance, and driving engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise web applications using React.js.
• Build reusable, modular, and maintainable UI components following industry best practices.
• Develop responsive, cross-browser compatible, and pixel-perfect user interfaces.
• Translate UI/UX designs into high-quality production-ready code.
• Integrate React applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Implement state management using Redux and/or Context API.
• Optimize application performance, accessibility, scalability, and overall user experience.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve production and development issues efficiently.
• Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in peer code reviews while ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, UX/UI Designers, QA Engineers, and Backend Developers throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in development processes, application quality, and engineering standards.

Experience

• 5–7 years of professional experience in Front-End Web Application Development.
• Strong hands-on experience developing enterprise-grade applications using React.js.
• Experience building scalable, responsive, and high-performance web applications.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum software development environments.
• Experience working directly with business stakeholders and cross-functional engineering teams.
