Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Financial Management Consultant role based in Gurugram. The Financial Management Consultant will work closely with clients to assess their financial health, develop financial strategies, and support decision-making through robust analysis and modelling. Daily responsibilities include preparing and reviewing financial reports, building and maintaining financial models, and conducting due diligence and feasibility studies for new projects or market entry initiatives. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional consulting teams on corporate strategy, performance improvement, and transformation engagements, ensuring that financial insights guide recommendations. The consultant will also contribute to client presentations, support implementation of financial management frameworks, and help identify opportunities to optimize profitability, cash flow, and long-term value.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of working experience in financial services and having good knowledge of internal audit process, retired/freelancer with Big 4 experience will be given priority.

• Strong foundation in financial domains, including Internal Audits, Financial Management and Finance, with the ability to apply these disciplines to complex business scenarios.
• Good working knowledge of IFRS and ability to rollout the same in a medium sized organization
• Advanced Analytical Skills to interpret financial data, perform scenario analysis, and support evidence-based recommendations.
• Support with general ledger accounts reconciliations etc.
• Experience in Consulting, preferably in management or financial consulting, with a track record of delivering client-focused solutions in India and Abroad.
• Proficiency in Financial Reporting, including preparing, analyzing, and presenting financial statements and management reports.
• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification will be considered.
• Strong skills in Excel and financial modelling tools; familiarity with BI or analytics platforms is beneficial.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work on-site as required by the organization, manage multiple projects, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced consulting environment.
