Position Overview

Job Title: Snowflake & DBT Data Engineer

Location: Hyderabad

Experience: 5–7 Years

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake and DBT (Data Build Tool) to design, develop, and optimize modern cloud-based data warehousing and transformation solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on experience in building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and working with cloud data platforms.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong hands‑on experience with Snowflake
• Expertise in DBT (Data Build Tool)
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling concepts
• Experience in building and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Knowledge of Apache Airflow
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and version control tools like Git

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake and DBT
• Build and optimize data transformation workflows for analytics and reporting
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand data requirements
• Ensure data quality, performance tuning, and pipeline reliability
• Implement best practices for data governance, security, and documentation
• Support deployment and monitoring of data solutions in cloud environments

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 5–7 years of overall experience in Data Engineering/Data Warehousing
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications & Certifications

• Certifications in Snowflake, AWS, or Azure are a plus
• Experience working in Agile environments
