Role Overview

As a Dot Net Developer, you will be responsible for developing, enhancing, maintaining, and supporting enterprise-grade application software solutions.

You will work closely with technology leads, business users, product teams, QA teams, and other stakeholders to understand requirements, estimate delivery effort, develop robust solutions, and deliver working software aligned with business priorities.

The role requires strong hands-on capability in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET, Web Services, REST APIs, SQL Server, application design, database design, and structured SDLC / Agile Scrum delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver working software that meets the functional and non-functional requirements of business users.
• Develop and maintain high-quality application software solutions using .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET Framework, and ASP.NET Core.
• Design, develop, and support Web Services, REST APIs, and microservices-based solutions.
• Work on application software in production environments, including support, troubleshooting, enhancement, and maintenance.
• Apply a good understanding of application design and database design while building enterprise software solutions.
• Develop and optimize database-related components using SQL Server and database queries.
• Follow SDLC, technical standards, and engineering best practices.
• Deliver high-quality software consistent with the principles of continuous integration.
• Estimate delivery effort, timelines, and dependencies in alignment with technical leads and business priorities.
• Work in structured Iterative / Agile Scrum development environments.
• Use appropriate design patterns, object-oriented design principles, and SOLID principles in solution development.
• Contribute to quality through unit testing, code maintainability, and disciplined engineering practices.
• Collaborate effectively with teams and stakeholders while demonstrating mutual trust, respect, accountability, and professionalism.

Key Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in application software development.
• Strong hands-on experience in .NET Core and C#.
• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in C#.
• Strong experience with ASP.NET Framework and ASP.NET Core.
• Experience in developing Web Services, REST APIs, and Microservices.
• Good understanding of Service-Oriented Architecture.
• Strong experience with SQL Server and writing database queries.
• Hands-on experience with Entity Framework.
• Good understanding of object-oriented design and SOLID principles.
• Experience with design patterns and structured application development.
• Experience in unit testing and quality-focused development.
• Experience working in structured SDLC, Iterative, or Agile Scrum environments.
• Exposure to Azure DevOps.
• Exposure to GitHub or equivalent version control systems.
• Good communication, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, and web development.
• Knowledge of MVVM framework.
• Exposure to Angular or other UI frameworks.
• Experience with document databases such as MongoDB.
• Cloud knowledge, including exposure to Kubernetes, YAML, or similar cloud deployment practices.
• Familiarity with Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience working in large enterprise or regulated business environments.

• Candidates currently based in or willing to work from Trivandrum in hybrid mode will be preferred.
