We are looking for a Senior / Lead DevOps Engineer with a proven track record of designing, securing, optimizing and scaling enterprise-grade cloud architecture. You will own the end-to-end CI/CD strategy, oversee multi-database environments, and drive security and observability across our stack. Additionally, you will lead our initiative to pioneer AI-native DevOps practices, leveraging Claude Code and MCP servers to build highly contextual, automated agentic workflows for the engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture & Strategy: Collaborate with architects and the Dev Team to design highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable multi-region architectures on AWS.
• Automation & Configuration: Drive configuration management across enterprise environments using Ansible and infrastructure provisioning via Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Advanced CI/CD & GitOps: Design enterprise-grade delivery pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions, orchestrated via ArgoCD.
• Database Management: Oversee, optimize, and secure database architectures including relational (MySQL, RDS, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL/Caching systems (DynamoDB, DocumentDB, Redis).
• AI Innovation & Tooling: Architect and implement advanced workflows utilizing Claude Code and customized MCP servers to augment debugging, automate incident response, and bridge contextual gaps between AI tools and internal infrastructure.
• Observability & Troubleshooting: Establish comprehensive monitoring, logging, and tracing frameworks. Lead deep-dive debugging sessions for complex distributed systems.
• Security & Compliance: Implement DevSecOps best practices, including IAM hardening, network security, vulnerability scanning, and compliance controls.

Technical Requirements

• Cloud & Infrastructure: Deep expertise across the AWS ecosystem with advanced knowledge of network topology — Multi-Region design, VPC, Transit Gateway, WAF/Shield, and PrivateLink.
• Orchestration: Advanced mastery of Kubernetes and EKS (cluster upgrades, ingress control, service meshes, security policies) and Helm chart management.
• CI/CD & Automation: Mastery in Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Ansible, and Terraform at scale.
• Scripting & Programming: Proficient in Bash Scripting and Python for complex automation, custom tooling, and API integrations.
• Databases: Extensive experience managing and tuning MySQL, RDS, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, DocumentDB, and Redis.
• Observability: Strong experience with enterprise logging and monitoring tools (e.g., ELK stack, Prometheus/Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Datadog).
• Security: Strong understanding of DevSecOps, TLS/SSL, KMS, IAM policies, and container security vulnerability tools (e.g., Trivy, Aqua).
• FinOps: Proven capability in AWS Cost Optimization and resource utilization management.
• AI & Agentic Workflows: Proven experience or deep conceptual understanding of deploying, extending, and securing Claude Code and building custom MCP servers for infrastructure context.

Tools and Technologies

• Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Docker Compose, multi-stage Dockerfiles. Kubernetes (advanced cluster lifecycle, RBAC), AWS EKS (managed & self-managed node groups, Karpenter, Fargate profiles), Helm.
• CI/CD Pipelines: Jenkins (shared libraries, declarative pipelines, agents), GitHub Actions (reusable workflows, composite actions), AWS CodePipeline.
• Git & GitOps: Git (advanced), GitHub / GitLab (protected branches, CODEOWNERS, Actions, Packages), ArgoCD (ApplicationSets, multi-cluster, RBAC).
• Infrastructure as Code & Configuration Management: Terraform (enterprise modules, Terragrunt, remote state, Sentinel policies), CloudFormation (StackSets).
• Scripting & Programming: Bash (advanced), Python (boto3, FastAPI, automation scripts, CLI tooling), YAML / JSON.
• Operating System: Linux / Unix (advanced — kernel tuning, cgroups, namespaces, systemd, network stack, SELinux).
• Monitoring & Logging: AWS CloudWatch, Prometheus, Alertmanager, Grafana (advanced dashboards), Otel, ELK Stack, Datadog.
• Databases & Caching: MySQL, PostgreSQL, AWS RDS, Amazon Aurora, DynamoDB, Amazon DocumentDB, MongoDB, Redis (ElastiCache cluster mode), Memcached.

• Experience mentoring mid-to-junior engineers and driving team engineering standards.
• Incident command experience and on-call leadership.
