About the RoleAs a member of the Data Platforms team at DoubleVerify, you will enhance the development experience for engineering and product teams by delivering reliable data platforms. You will shape and optimize our core data services with focus on data warehouse technologies and platforms that enable seamless data movement and governance.

Your RoleAs a Senior Data Platforms Engineer, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of critical data platforms, focusing on data warehouse technologies (Snowflake, Mongo, SQL Server, BigQuery, CloudSQL) and data movement platforms (Airbyte). You will ensure their reliability, scalability, and alignment with strategic objectives while enabling teams to work with data independently.

Your Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership

Provide expert guidance on data warehouse technologies and data movement platformsCollaborate with developers, infrastructure engineers, and product teams to ensure platform standards and best practicesInnovation and Strategy

Champion DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD pipelinesContribute to the platform's technology roadmapHands-On Development

Design platforms for seamless data movement from various sources to data warehousesDevelop and maintain data warehouse platforms and data movement infrastructureBuild self-service tools and platforms for efficient data movementDevelop automation using GitLab, terraform and scriptingExperience with Airbyte and Liquibase setup is a plusPlatform Reliability & Ownership

The successful candidates starting salary will be determined based on a number of nondiscriminating factors, including qualifications for the role, level, skills, experience, location, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at DV. The estimated salary range for this role based on the qualifications set forth in the job description is between $111,000 - $222,000.
