Job Summary

We are looking for experienced Cloud & Linux Operations experts (SME) to manage and support enterprise-scale Linux systems, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Kubernetes), and database environments (RDS & NoSQL).

Candidates must have strong hands-on experience in RHEL (Including SAP Pacemaker Clusters), cloud infrastructure, Database, and automation scripting to deliver high availability, performance, and reliability across hybrid infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Linux/Unix (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE)

Provide operational support and troubleshooting for enterprise-scale Linux systems.

Perform routine patching, OS upgrades, package management, user and file system administration.

Setup and Manage RHEL Pacemaker HA Clusters ensure high availability, address fencing/resource issues, analyze logs and document SOPs.

Lead complex issue resolution for kernel-level, performance tuning, and cluster/node failures.

Setting up runtime monitoring for resource groups, dependencies/constraints between resources

Configure alerting for node failure / RG failover/takeover.

Troubleshooting , identifying the issue and providing resolution during a failure.

Manage fencing configurations using fence_ipmilan, fence_dummy, or custom fencing agents.

Implement cluster-wide changes and assist with failover validations.

Coordinate with application and database teams to onboard workloads onto clustered environments.

Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell, Bash, Python, or Perl.

Collaborate with storage, network, and application teams for integrated troubleshooting and incident resolution.

Manage, monitor, and troubleshoot workloads hosted on AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes clusters

Automate cloud and infrastructure operations using tools like Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, and cloud-native services

Support ITSM workflows for incident, change, and service request handling using tools like ServiceNow

Introducing cloud cost optimization techniques, tagging, and governance compliance.

Perform day-to-day RDS operations (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL), backups, schema refresh, patching, replication, and version upgrades.

Perform RCA for P1/P2 issues and implement long-term fixes.

Mentor L1/L2 engineers and lead knowledge-sharing sessions and incident postmortems.

Scripting/Automation: Shell, Bash, Python, Perl, Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell

Monitoring: CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, OEM

Tools: ServiceNow, GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins, CloudFormation, Terraform and Red Hat Satellite

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.

Certifications preferred: RHCSA/RHCE, AWS SysOps/Admin, Azure Administrator, CKA, DB-specific certs.

Strong problem-solving and communication skills with willingness to work in a 24x7 support environment
