About You

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• At least 3‑5 years of experience working in a cloud support or system administrator role with hands‑on experience in Azure environments.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Azure services such as Azure VMs, App Services, Networking (VNets, VPNs, NSG, etc.), Azure Active Directory (AAD), Azure Functions, etc.
• Strong knowledge of Azure Identity & Access Management (IAM) and role‑based access control (RBAC).
• Familiarity with Azure CLI, PowerShell scripting, and automation tools like ARM templates or Terraform.
• Experience with Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center, and Azure Backup solutions.
• Understanding of networking concepts like DNS, TCP/IP, VPN, and firewall configurations in the Azure context.
• Previous experience in incident management, troubleshooting cloud‑related issues, and providing customer support.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot issues in a complex Azure environment.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ‑900), Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ‑104), or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ‑305) are preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with third‑party Azure management tools or integrations.
• Familiarity with other cloud platforms like AWS or Google Cloud is a plus.
• Experience working in an ITIL‑based environment or similar frameworks.

What You’ll Do

• Provide Level 2 support for issues related to Azure cloud environments, including virtual machines, networking, storage, and other Azure services.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS) offerings.
• Assist with the deployment, configuration, and management of Azure resources, including virtual machines, storage accounts, virtual networks, and security policies.
• Collaborate with Level 1 support and Level 3 engineering teams to escalated issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Monitor system performance using Azure monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics) and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure incident management and problem resolution follows best practices and SLAs.
• Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and assist in implementing long‑term solutions.
• Provide documentation and knowledge base articles to support both end users and IT teams.
• Assist in Azure migrations, backup/restore activities, and other project‑based tasks as required.
• Help with security audits, compliance assessments, and disaster recovery planning for Azure workloads.
