Job Description & Responsibilities

Senior Chartered Accountant (TIC Industry) Industry: Testing, Inspection &

Certification (TIC) Experience: Minimum 15 Years Location: Rajarhat, Kolkata We are looking for a senior finance professional who is a qualified Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 15 years of post-qualification experience to lead and manage our Finance & Accounts function. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of leading finance teams, driving financial strategy, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting business growth.

Experience in the Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) industry or a similar service-based organisation will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities - Lead, mentor, and manage the Finance & Accounts team, ensuring operational excellence and continuous development.

  • Oversee the company's entire finance and accounting function.
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
  • Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS, Companies Act, and all other statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage statutory audits, internal audits, tax audits, and regulatory inspections.
  • Drive budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Provide strategic financial insights and business recommendations to senior management.
  • Strengthen internal controls, financial governance, and risk management processes.
  • Manage banking relationships, treasury functions, and working capital requirements.
  • Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll accounting, and fixed asset management.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and government authorities.
  • Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and maintenance of financial records.
  • Support commercial operations through financial analysis, costing, pricing, and profitability assessments.
  • Drive automation and continuous process improvements within the finance function. Qualification - Chartered Accountant (CA) – Qualified (Mandatory).

Experience - Minimum 15 years of post-qualification experience in Finance & Accounts.

  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing finance teams.
  • Experience in the Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) industry is preferred.
  • Strong exposure to financial reporting, taxation, budgeting, audits, compliance, and ERP systems.

Required Skills - Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS).

  • Expertise in GST, Income Tax, TDS, Companies Act, and statutory compliance.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or equivalent.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial analysis skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
