Senior Backend Developer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer with 6–8 years of software development experience, including strong expertise in Node.js, to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building high-performance, secure, and cloud-native applications using modern backend technologies and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js.
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Design database schemas and optimize database performance.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following coding standards.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and security best practices.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and technical decision-making.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

Required Skills

• 6–8 years of experience in backend software development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Node.js and frameworks such as Express.js or NestJS.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Experience building REST APIs and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of asynchronous programming and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
• Experience with Redis or other caching technologies.
• Knowledge of message brokers such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or similar.
• Experience with Docker and containerized applications.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with Git and modern version control practices.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of authentication mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Experience with GraphQL.
• Familiarity with serverless architectures.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
