Job Title: Senior Backend Developer (Rust) Contract

Location: Remote

Contract Duration: 2 Months

Shift Timing: 2 pm 11 pm

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with strong expertise in Rust to join our team on a short-term contractual basis. This is a remote, hands-on development role requiring deep backend experience and production-level proficiency in Rust.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Rust

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement APIs and backend features

Optimize system performance and ensure reliability under load

Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices

Deliver high-quality code within a fast-paced 2-month project timeline

Requirements

8+ years of overall backend development experience

Strong hands-on experience with Rust in production systems (must-have)

Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and system integration

Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and asynchronous programming

Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Redis)

Comfortable working independently and delivering in tight timelines

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments is a plus

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

Prior experience in fast-paced contract or consulting roles

Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure .
