Senior Backend Developer - Node.js, Express.js

You will lead backend development projects and manage the lifecycle of scalable server-side systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend systems and secure API architectures.
• Lead backend development projects and mentor junior developers through code reviews.
• Collaborate with front-end and DevOps teams to integrate services and optimize API performance.
• Monitor system performance and report bottlenecks using monitoring tools.
• Optimize database design, load balancing, and server-side rendering for SEO and speed.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in backend development.
• Proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Strong expertise in asynchronous programming and API design.
• Solid experience with SQL (MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of monitoring tools including Prometheus, Grafana, Logstash, and New Relic.
• Understanding of cloud infrastructure and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to perform debugging, performance optimization, and load balancing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with server-side rendering optimization.
