Senior AI & Data Engineer (Data Science + Data Engineering) | 5+ Years Experience

Role Description As a Senior AI & Data Engineer at TALENSER, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that power AI-driven talent matching and analytics. You will work on end-to-end data workflows, including ingesting data from multiple sources, implementing robust ETL processes, and optimizing data models and warehouses for performance and reliability. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, product teams, and engineering peers to operationalize machine learning models, improve data quality, and develop analytics solutions that support business decisions. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Hyderabad, where you will spend part of your time working onsite with cross-functional teams and the remainder working from home as business needs allow.

Qualifications

• Strong data engineering skills, including experience with building and maintaining data pipelines, distributed data processing, and data integration.
• Proficiency in data modeling and data warehousing, with the ability to design scalable schemas and optimize storage for analytics and AI workloads.
• Hands-on experience with Extract Transform Load (ETL) workflows and tools, focusing on reliability, performance, and automation.
• Applied data analytics skills, including querying large datasets, building dashboards or reports, and supporting data-driven decision making.
• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, or related roles, preferably in product or platform-focused environments.
• Proficiency in relevant programming languages (such as Python, SQL) and familiarity with modern data platforms (e.g., cloud data warehouses, big data frameworks).
• Experience collaborating with data scientists to deploy and monitor machine learning models in production is highly beneficial.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid, cross-functional team setting.
