Senior Accountant - Jewellery

Seeking a Dynamic Accountant for a Jewellery brand based in Coimbatore.Job Responsibilities Manage daily accounting operations, including general ledger, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and cash flow. Prepare and review monthly financial statements, MIS reports, and profit & loss statements. Ensure accurate and timely compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory filings. Maintain and monitor inventory accounting and costing processes, especially related to jewellery stock and production. Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits; assist with year-end closing activities. Process vendor invoices, manage payments, and ensure proper documentation and ledger entries. Support budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis. Monitor and improve internal controls and accounting processes. Ensure data accuracy in accounting software (Tally/ERP) and support system improvements. Liaise with internal departments for financial approvals, reconciliations, and reporting. Keep updated with changes in accounting regulations and taxation laws.Job Qualifications Bachelors degree in commerce, Accounting, or Finance. (CA Inter or M. Com is a plus) 38 years of accounting experience, preferably in the jewellery, retail, or luxury product domain. Proficient in Tally ERP, accounting software, and Microsoft Excel. Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards, taxation, and compliance. High attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management. Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
