🏢 Position Overview

The Senior Accountant is responsible for overseeing financial reporting, compliance, and accounting operations. This role ensures accuracy in financial statements, supports audits, and provides insights to management for strategic decision‑making.

⚙️ Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage general ledger entries, reconciliations, and accruals.
• Experience in GAAP Accounting/IFRS and local statutory requirements.
• Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and payroll processes.
• Support internal and external audits; prepare audit schedules.
• Monitor and improve internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on budgeting and forecasting.
• Mentor junior accountants and provide guidance on complex transactions.

🎯 Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CA preferred).
• 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and corporate tax regulations.
• Proficiency in ERP/accounting software (SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar).
• Advanced Excel skills: familiarity with BI tools is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
