Senior Accountant CA Firm Experience Required

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Accountant to lead and oversee client engagements, manage team members, and ensure high-quality service delivery in GST, financial reporting, and compliance matters. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a client-focused approach.

Note: Candidates with only industry or corporate experience will not be considered.

✅ Recent and relevant post articleship work experience with a CA firm is mandatory.

Senior Accountant/CA Final Drop out with 5–6 years of experience (post articleship), strictly in a CA firm environment.

Key Expertise Required

• GST & Indirect Taxation
• End-to-end handling of GST compliance, advisory, and litigation support
• Review and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns, reconciliations, etc.)
• GST audits, assessments, notices, and departmental representations
• Advisory on GST structuring, input tax credit optimization, and compliance planning
• Keeping clients updated on changes in GST laws and implications
• Financial Reporting & Compliance
• Finalization of financial statements (including consolidation) as per applicable accounting standards;
• Preparation and review of MIS reports and financial analysis;
• Expert knowledge in tax audits;
• Ensuring compliance with Companies Act, Income Tax Act, and other regulatory requirements
• Good knowledge of Indian GAAP (Accounting Standards)
• Liaising with auditors, bankers, and regulatory authorities
• Team Leadership & Management
• Supervision, mentoring, and review of work performed by team members;
• Allocation of assignments and ensuring timely completion;
• Quality control and review of deliverables before submission
• Training team members on GST and financial reporting updates
• Building a collaborative and performance-driven team environment
• Client Relationship Management
• Acting as a key point of contact for assigned clients
• Providing proactive advisory and business insights
• Managing multiple client engagements simultaneously
• Ensuring client satisfaction and retention

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Senior Accountant (CA Final drop outs)
• 5-6 years+ (Post Articleship) of relevant experience in a CA firm
• Strong expertise in GST laws and compliance
• Excellent knowledge of financial statements
• Excellent Knowledge of Direct Taxes, payroll, FEMA, Corporate laws, and taxation
• Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, Zoho, Computax, Genius etc.) and MS Excel
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Leadership ability with experience in managing teams

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate

• Panchsheel Enclave, Delhi, Delhi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
