Semi Qualified CA/CMA Accountant

Job Title: Accountant – Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to manage the financial operations. The role involves overseeing client billing, tracking project expenses, preparing monthly financial statements, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. You will collaborate closely with account managers, creative teams, vendors, and external auditors to maintain accurate financial records, safeguard sensitive information, and support strategic decision-making.Key Responsibilities: Prepare and process client invoices, vendor payments, and payroll. Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and report variances.Prepare monthly financial statements and MIS reports. Conduct project profitability analysis to support business decisions. Maintain accurate ledgers and reconcile bank statements. Coordinate with Chartered Accountants for audits and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with tax laws, GST filings, and statutory requirements.Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Maintain confidentiality of all financial and client-related information.Qualifications & Skills:CA Inter cleared or CMA; 2-8 years of accounting and auditing experience, preferably in the CA firm and/or service industry. Proficiency in Tally Prime (mandatory) and other accounting software.Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other Indian tax regulations.Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and time management.Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, creative environment. High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.Preferred Qualifications:Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, orSeemi qualified CA or CMA .Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.Familiarity with project-based accounting and profitability tracking.Experience in coordinating statutory and internal audits.
