eCommerce SEO Specialist

📍 Andheri East, Mumbai | Full-Time | In-House

We’re looking for an experienced eCommerce SEO Specialist who can own the complete organic growth strategy across our Shopify stores.

This is not a content-only or link-building role.

We’re looking for someone who understands every aspect of SEO—from technical audits and site architecture to product optimisation, AI search, and increasing organic revenue.

What You’ll Own

• End-to-end SEO strategy and execution for multiple Shopify stores
• Technical SEO audits and implementation
• Keyword research based on commercial search intent
• Product, Collection & Category Page optimisation
• Internal linking and site architecture
• Schema Markup & Structured Data
• Core Web Vitals and Page Speed optimisation
• Crawlability, Indexing & Canonicalisation
• XML Sitemaps & Robots.txt optimisation
• Redirect management and broken link resolution
• Image optimisation and SEO best practices
• Content gap analysis and SEO content strategy
• Competitor benchmarking
• Organic conversion optimisation
• Google Merchant Centre organic listings
• AI Search optimisation (Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini and emerging search platforms)
• Monthly SEO reporting with actionable recommendations
• Work closely with Shopify developers, designers, content writers and the Performance Marketing team

Skills & Experience

✔ 4–7+ years of hands-on SEO experience

✔ Proven success growing organic traffic and revenue for Shopify/eCommerce websites

✔ Strong understanding of

• Technical SEO
• On-Page SEO
• Off-Page SEO
• Local SEO (where applicable)
• International SEO (preferred)
• Shopify SEO
• Mobile SEO
• Core Web Vitals
• Structured Data / Schema
• EEAT optimisation
• AI Search / Generative Search Optimisation (GEO)

✔ Experience using

• Google Search Console
• Google Analytics 4
• Ahrefs
• SEMrush
• Screaming Frog
• Google Tag Manager
• Google Merchant Center
• Looker Studio

✔ Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript from an SEO perspective

✔ Ability to identify technical issues and work with developers to resolve them

✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

✔ Experience managing multiple websites simultaneously

Bonus Points

⭐ Experience with fashion, apparel, lifestyle or retail brands

⭐ Experience scaling websites with large product catalogues

⭐ Knowledge of CRO (Conversion Rate Optimisation)

⭐ Experience with Shopify Apps and Shopify theme structure

⭐ Understanding of AI-assisted search and how SEO is evolving beyond Google
