SDE II - Frontend

Job Role

We are looking for a seasoned frontend developer to join our product team. This role requires you to be a tech-savvy contributor in translating the customer needs and user expectation into interactive web apps. You’ll be an exceptional problem solver and take responsible actions in ensuring the application is optimized both in technology and in delivering best user experience.

Experience/Skills Required

• 4 -9 years of demonstrated experience in creating and implementing Frontend development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, object model, DOM manipulation and event handlers, data structures, algorithms, JSX, and Babel
• Strong hands-on experience in Javascript/Angular JS/React JS/Vue JS
• Complete understanding of ReactJS and its main fundamentals like JSX, Virtual DOM, component lifecycle, etc.
• Preceding experience with ReactJS workflows like Flux, Redux, Create React App, data structure libraries
• Understanding of RESTful APIs/GraphQL, HTML/CSS, ES6 (variables and scoping, array methods), code versioning tools like GIT, SVN, etc., popular frontend development tools, CI/CD tools, DevOps, performance testing frameworks like Mocha, Node + NPM
• Experience with user interface design.
• Experience with browser-based debugging and performance testing software.
• Experience in canvas will be an added advantage
• Continued education and research into Frontend development trends and current design strategy and technology.
• Professional written and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple milestones and projects efficiently.
• Advanced problem-solving skills and the ability to optimize code for the best possible outcome.
• The Candidate should be a Graduate or Post-Graduate with good academic standing.
• Self-driven, responsible, and keen eye to details
• Strong collaborator and has skills to participate/guide technical discussions
• Strong team player

Detailed Role & Responsibilities

• Work closely with Leads and Product teams
• Help with design and code reviews in team
• Ensure that the website is optimized for various devices and various platforms
• Monitor trends in UI development and advocate technology standards and best-practices
• Write highly-optimised and performant code using appropriate design patterns and data structures
• Take part in architectural discussions and drive changes to suite business goals
• Part of initiatives to re-architect sub-systems as deemed necessary to support business growth
