SAP Specialist - BW/HANA Modules|Bengaluru|5+Yrs

Job Description

  • Strong Technical Exposure in SAP BW on HANA Modelling.
  • SAP S4/HANA business Process understanding in Finance , Sales and Distribution , Inventory and Purchasing as a source for analytics data.
  • Hands-on Experience in developing BW solutions leveraging ADSO (Advanced Data Store Object ) , CP ( Composite Providers ) etc.
  • Must have experience in custom extractor enhancement & Build (ABAP routine Function Module ), as well as ABAP/SQL for S/4 development of extractors via CDS views.
  • Must have BW-ABAP development skills with respect to SAP BW Start Routine , expert routines, end routines.
  • Must have experience of data load Setup tables in the functional area of Sales and Distribution , Inventory and Purchasing.
  • Ability to debug and perform necessary enhancement in data models using ABAP statements in SAP BW with respect to existing data models and Extractors.
  • Working knowledge of Operational Data Provisioning (ODP) and Operational Delta Queue (ODQ) Delta Mechanism for Data Update.
  • Able to perform independent analysis of data related issues/enhancement by performing analysis of BW Analytics report in WEBI / Analysis Office navigating to source of data inconsistency.
  • Proficient in SAP BW component transport and deployment experience ( Including Graphical HANA Views ).
  • Able to build HANA Graphical model Calculation views.

Job Responsibilities

  • Leverage different modelling options in graphical modelling for data cleansing , transformation of data for business requirement (Rank nodes , Data Pruning , Date and String Conversion etc.)
  • Basic SQL knowledge for performing reconciliation / Update / Purge of infoproviders data through SQL scripts.
  • Logical thinking and problem-solving skills along with an ability to collaborate with different team to get to the solution of business requirements.
  • Ability to assess the current processes, identify improvement areas and suggest the technology solutions that best works out with existing solutions.
  • Client Interfacing skills.
  • XSA: Knowledge on XS Advanced/HANA 2.0 is good to have.
  • HANA Certification is preferrable.
