Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales and Marketing Specialist role based in Perundurai. The specialist will identify new business opportunities, visit and engage with customers, and promote the company’s rice products to retailers, distributors, and institutional buyers. Daily responsibilities include managing sales inquiries, preparing basic quotations, following up on leads, and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential clients. The role involves coordinating simple marketing activities such as local promotions, product presentations, and customer outreach initiatives. The specialist will also track sales performance, share regular updates with management, and support basic training or guidance for team members on sales and customer interaction practices.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with buyers and partners.
• Candidates should possess solid Sales and Sales Management abilities to drive revenue, manage pipelines, and meet targets.
• Candidates should possess Training skills to guide team members and support knowledge sharing on products and sales practices.
• Basic knowledge of local markets, agricultural or food products, and trading operations is beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Perundurai, travel locally for client visits, and manage time and responsibilities independently.
• Prior experience in sales or marketing, preferably in FMCG, agriculture, or related sectors, is an advantage.
• Minimum educational qualification at higher secondary level or above; a diploma or degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
