Role Description The Relationship Manager role at Sitara is a full-time, on-site position based in Jaipur. The Relationship Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, focusing on affordable housing finance products. Day-to-day tasks include identifying potential clients, explaining loan products and processes, assisting with documentation, and guiding customers through the application and approval stages. The role also involves regular field visits, follow-ups on leads, collection coordination, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. The Relationship Manager collaborates with branch and credit teams to achieve business targets, manage risk appropriately, and uphold the company’s standards of service and compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong customer relationship management skills, including the ability to build trust, listen actively, and provide clear guidance to diverse clients.
• Sales and business development abilities, such as lead generation, converting prospects, and working towards defined targets in a structured manner.
• Basic financial and housing loan knowledge, with the capacity to understand loan products, documentation requirements, and repayment structures.
• Communication and interpersonal skills, including proficiency in spoken and written English and local languages, and confidence in face-to-face interactions.
• Organizational and follow-up skills, with attention to detail in documentation, record keeping, and timely coordination with internal teams.
• Comfort with fieldwork and local travel in and around Jaipur, and willingness to engage directly with customers at their homes or workplaces.
• Minimum educational qualification: graduate degree in any discipline; a background in finance, business, or social work is an advantage.
• Prior experience in housing finance, microfinance, banking, or financial services is preferred but motivated candidates with relevant skills are encouraged to apply.
