Role Description The Quality Assurance Engineer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Haridwar. This role is responsible for planning, designing, and executing test activities to ensure that products and processes meet defined quality standards. Day-to-day tasks include creating and reviewing test cases, performing manual testing, documenting defects, and collaborating with production, machining, and process engineering teams to resolve issues.

The Quality Assurance

Engineer will support structured problem-solving initiatives, contribute to continuous improvement of testing methods, and help maintain compliance with internal quality procedures and customer requirements. The role also involves preparing quality reports, tracking test metrics, and participating in audits and inspections.

Qualifications

Strong Quality Assurance foundation, including knowledge of QA methodologies and defect management.

Experience with Test Execution and Manual Testing in manufacturing or industrial environments.

Ability to design, document, and maintain clear and comprehensive Test Cases.

Understanding of Software Testing concepts for test tools, dashboards, or production-related systems.

Relevant technical degree or diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Production, or related field).

Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and familiarity with structured problem-solving (e.g., 8D, root cause analysis).

Comfort working on-site in a shop-floor environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Basic knowledge of quality standards, inspection methods, and reporting tools; prior experience in die casting or machining is an advantage.
