Qualified CA - Internal Audit & Audit & Assurance - Manager Mumbai

We are seeking a recently qualified Chartered Accountant to join our Audit & Assurance team. The role offers exposure to statutory audits, internal audits, risk assessments, and process reviews across diverse industries. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, sound knowledge of accounting and auditing standards, and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesStatutory Audit & Assurance

• Plan and execute statutory audit engagements in accordance with applicable auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
• Review financial statements, accounting records, and supporting documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Perform substantive and analytical audit procedures and evaluate the adequacy of audit evidence.
• Prepare comprehensive audit working papers and documentation to support audit conclusions.
• Identify audit observations, assess financial reporting risks, and communicate findings to senior team members.
• Assist in the preparation of audit reports, management letters, and other client deliverables.
• Stay updated with changes in accounting standards, auditing standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
• Freshly qualified CA (0–1 year of post-qualification experience).
• Articleship experience in statutory audit, internal audit, or assurance services will be preferred.

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of Accounting Standards (Ind AS/AS), Standards on Auditing (SAs), and Companies Act provisions.
• Knowledge of internal controls, risk assessment, and audit methodologies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Exposure to ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics is an added advantage.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity, attention to detail, and professional ethics.
