Job Description QA Automation Engineer (Salesforce + Cypress) Role Summary

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer with 3+ years of experience in test automation and Salesforce application testing. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Cypress, JavaScript/TypeScript, Salesforce UI testing, and CI/CD integration to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Cypress for Salesforce front-end applications.
• Perform UI, functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Validate Salesforce Lightning UI, workflows, and integrations across multiple environments.
• Develop reusable automation frameworks, page object models, and test data strategies.
• Create, review, and execute manual and automated test cases based on business requirements.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate with developers, administrators, business analysts, and product owners throughout the SDLC.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Generate test reports, quality metrics, and release readiness reports.
• Continuously improve QA processes, automation frameworks, and testing best practices.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in QA Automation.
• Strong experience with Cypress automation framework.
• Experience testing Salesforce applications, Salesforce Lightning, or Experience Cloud.
• Proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Strong understanding of:
• Functional Testing
• Regression Testing
• Integration Testing
• End-to-End (E2E) Testing
• SDLC & STLC
• Experience with defect tracking and test management tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Good analytical, debugging, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Salesforce Lightning and Experience Cloud testing.
• API testing using Postman.
• CI/CD integration using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Automation framework development and Page Object Model (POM).
• Test data management strategies.
• Git version control.
• Cross-browser, accessibility, and performance testing knowledge.
