Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer with 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience to join our team. In this role, your primary focus will be ensuring the seamless performance, usability, and reliability of our H5 mobile websites and complex Admin Dashboards.

You will be responsible for the entire testing lifecyclefrom analyzing requirements and writing test cases to executing manual tests and verifying bug fixes. The ideal candidate has a strong knack for breaking things, troubleshooting data flows, and ensuring an exceptional user experience across various mobile devices and desktop browsers.

Key Responsibilities

• H5 Website Testing: Perform end-to-end testing of mobile responsive/H5 pages. Ensure pixel-perfect UI, smooth navigation, animations, and optimal performance across various mobile browsers (Chrome, Safari) and operating systems (iOS and Android).
• Admin Dashboard Testing: Validate complex workflows, data presentation, role-based access controls (permissions), and CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) functionalities within our back-end admin panels.
• Test Planning & Execution: Design, write, and execute detailed, structured test cases and test scenarios based on product requirement documents (PRD).
• Defect Tracking: Identify, isolate, log, and track software defects using tools like Jira. Provide clear, reproducible steps and necessary logs/screenshots to the development team.
• API Verification: Perform basic API testing to ensure smooth data communication between the H5 front-end, Admin Dashboard, and backend servers.
• Regression Testing: Run comprehensive regression tests before major production releases to ensure new updates dont break existing functionalities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Frontend Developers, and Backend Engineers to clarify requirements and resolve quality blocks early.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Experience: 2 to 3 years of professional experience in software QA testing (Manual testing focus).
• H5/Mobile Web Expertise: Proven experience testing H5 sites, including a solid understanding of mobile browser caching, network throttling, and mobile responsive design.
• Dashboard/Data Validation: Strong experience testing data-heavy web applications or admin portals, ensuring charts, tables, and filters display accurate information.
• Web Tools: Proficiency with Chrome DevTools for inspecting elements, debugging UI layouts, analyzing network traffic, and checking console errors.
• API Testing: Experience using tools like Postman to test RESTful APIs.
• Database Basics: Basic knowledge of SQL queries to verify data updates in the backend database.
• Bug Tracking: Familiarity with project management and bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or Redmine).
• Soft Skills: Robust analytical thinking, excellent problem-solving skills, and a clear, concise communication style for documenting bugs.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Basic exposure to automation testing concepts or tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright).
• Knowledge of performance testing tools like Lighthouse or JMeter.
