Job Description & Responsibilities

To ensure consistent quality of GRC, FRP & UHPC products by implementing effective quality control systems, minimizing rejections and rework, and ensuring compliance with approved drawings,

specifications, and client standards.

Prior experience

  • 3 to 8 years of experience in QA/QC within GRC / FRP / UHPC / precast manufacturing
  • Experience in facade, architectural, or project-based manufacturing units preferred

Key Responsibilities

  • Quality Control Manufacturing
  • Ensure quality control during manufacturing of GRC, FRP & UHPC components
  • Monitor all stages of production including batching, mixing, casting/spraying, curing, demoulding, finishing, and packing
  • Ensure adherence to approved mix designs, moulds, curing procedures, and finishing standards
  • Raw Material Inspection & Control
  • Inspect incoming raw materials such as cement, sand, fibers, resins, chemicals, additives, pigments, and meshes
  • Verify test certificates and material compliance with approved specifications
  • Maintain raw material inspection and approval records
  • Testing & Inspection
  • Conduct and monitor quality tests including:
  • Compressive strength
  • Flexural strength
  • Density and water absorption
  • Thickness, dimensional tolerance, and surface finish
  • Ensure testing frequency as per approved QA/QC plan and project requirements
  • Drawings & Specification Compliance
  • Ensure products are manufactured strictly as per approved shop drawings, samples, mock-ups, and specifications
  • Coordinate with design and engineering teams for clarifications and revisions
  • Verify dimensions, profiles, textures, and finishes before dispatch
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance
  • Implement and maintain QA/QC procedures, ITPs, and checklists
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards and project-specific quality requirements
  • Conduct internal quality audits and inspections
  • Prepare quality reports for management and clients as required
  • Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions
  • Identify quality deviations, defects, and rejections
  • Raise NCRs and coordinate corrective and preventive actions
  • Work closely with production teams to reduce rework and wastage
  • Dispatch & Site Coordination
  • Conduct final inspection prior to dispatch
  • Ensure proper packing, labeling, and protection of finished products
  • Coordinate with site teams for quality feedback and resolution of issues
  • Documentation & Records Management
  • Maintain QA/QC documentation including:
  • ITPs
  • Checklists
  • Test reports
  • NCRs and CAPA records
  • Ensure proper documentation for audits and client submissions
  • Reporting & MIS
  • Prepare and maintain quality-related MIS reports
  • Track rejections, rework, test results, and corrective actions
  • Submit regular quality performance reports to management

Additional Qualifications / certifications

  • Certification in QA/QC or ISO (Preferred)
  • Knowledge of precast, faade, or architectural products

Other skills (preferred)

  • Strong understanding of quality standards and inspection processes
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
  • Good documentation and reporting skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and basic MIS reporting
  • Strong coordination and communication skills
