Role Summary

As a Quality Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. With a minimum of 3 years of experience, you will leverage your expertise to meticulously test applications, identify and document defects, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality software solutions. Your attention to detail and problem‑solving skills will be key in maintaining the integrity and performance of our applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate proactively in stand‑up meetings, sprint planning, story grooming sessions, team retrospectives, and implementing improvements.
• Interact with business teams on initiatives and how they should be approached from a testing standpoint.
• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well‑structured test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
• Ensure coverage of functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Develop test cases, scenarios, and scripts based on user stories, business requirements, and technical specifications.
• Perform manual testing to identify defects, ensure application functionality, and validate that requirements are met.
• Execute tests in different environments and across various platforms to ensure compatibility and responsiveness.
• Identify, log, and track software defects.
• Provide detailed descriptions, steps to reproduce, and severity assessments for identified issues.
• Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and communicate testing progress and results.
• Generate and present test reports to stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations for improvement.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant experience
• 3+ years of experience with manual testing
• Strong English speaking and writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a similar technical discipline
• Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience.
• Experience in systems development lifecycle.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Hands‑on experience in manual testing Web‑Based, Desktop‑Based and SAP Applications.
• Intellectual curiosity and the ability to question thought partners across functional areas.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements.
• Solid problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking abilities.
• Excellent understanding of business complexity and project interdependencies.
• Ability to partner with multiple stakeholders and influence project decisions.
• Strong teamwork, customer service and organizational skills.
• Certification in automation testing tools like Tosca is preferred. Any other certification is a plus.
• Familiar with Data Integrity testing including experience with database technologies, query building (DAX, MDX, SQL), ETL concepts, cloud‑based data solutions, and business intelligence solutions.
• Good to have knowledge in Tosca Data Integrity and qTest.

Hybrid Work Policy
