QA Engineer (Immediate Joiner)

Location: Bavdhan, Pune (5 Days Onsite)

Type: Full-time

About the Role

We are looking for a technically robust QA Engineer to drive quality across our upcoming web and mobile roadmaps. This role is perfect for a tester who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for building scalable automation suites while ensuring our manual testing standards remain top-tier.

As we scale, a foundational understanding of investment products and strong technical problem-solving skills will be key to your success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Automation: Design, develop, and maintain advanced automation frameworks .
  • Mobile Excellence: Execute comprehensive manual and automated testing for both Android and iOS platforms to ensure a seamless mobile experience.
  • Web & API Validation: Perform deep functional and cross-browser testing for complex web applications and conduct rigorous RESTful API validation.
  • Strategic QA & Domain Alignment: Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to identify edge cases, map out testing strategies for financial features, and integrate testing into the CI/CD pipeline.

Core Required Skills

  • Automation & Coding: Advanced-level proficiency in Playwright for web and mobile web environments. Foundational coding knowledge to effectively support test script creation, framework maintenance, and debugging.
  • Mobile Testing: Proven hands-on experience in both Manual and Automation testing for native/hybrid mobile apps (iOS & Android).
  • API Testing: Strong expertise in validating and automating RESTful APIs (using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or Playwright's API testing capabilities).
  • FinTech Domain Knowledge: A basic understanding of financial products, including shares, mutual funds, and other investment instruments.
  • Technical Depth: A deep understanding of functional testing, regression suites, and cross-browser compatibility.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent technical educational background.
  • Experience: Significant hands-on experience in a dual Manual + Automation role.
  • Communication: Exceptional command of English (both written and verbal) for clear documentation and seamless collaboration with on-site teams.
  • Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues independently.
