📈 Experience Required: 5–8 Years

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer – Data Migration with strong expertise in ETL Testing, Azure Databricks, SQL, and Data Quality Validation. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of enterprise data migration initiatives while working closely with Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Data Migration Testing

• Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies for enterprise data migration projects.
• Validate ETL processes and migrated data across source and target systems.
• Perform data reconciliation, completeness, accuracy, consistency, and integrity testing.
• Verify data profiling, survivorship, deduplication, and business validation rules.
• Identify, document, track, and manage defects through successful resolution.
• Prepare test plans, test cases, execution reports, and defect summaries.

Data Quality Assurance

• Validate migrated data using complex SQL queries.
• Perform source-to-target validation and reconciliation.
• Ensure migration quality standards and acceptance criteria are achieved.
• Support SIT, UAT, Regression Testing, and Production Validation activities.
• Work closely with Data Engineers and Business Analysts to resolve data quality issues.

Collaboration & Process Improvement

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve testing processes and migration quality.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and testing reviews.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and testing best practices.

🔹 Required Skills & Qualifications

✔ 5–8 years of experience in Data Migration Testing or ETL Testing

✔ Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks

✔ Excellent SQL skills for

• Data Validation
• Data Reconciliation
• Source-to-Target Validation
• Data Integrity Checks

✔ Experience in

• ETL Testing
• Data Quality Validation
• Data Profiling
• Survivorship Rules
• Deduplication Testing

✔ Experience using Test Management and Defect Tracking tools

✔ Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

✔ Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

🔹 Preferred Skills

⭐ Experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF)

⭐ Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM)

⭐ Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

⭐ Test Automation experience is an added advantage

⭐ Experience with enterprise cloud-based data platforms
