QA Engineer- 4+ Years- Bangalore (Karnataka)

We are looking for a detail-oriented QA Engineer with strong expertise in data validation, ETL/ELT testing, and SQL. The ideal candidate should have experience ensuring data quality across complex data pipelines while working with modern cloud and automation technologies.

Responsibilities

• Perform data validation and quality assurance across ETL/ELT pipelines using SQL and automated testing frameworks.
• Validate data integrity, schema evolution, and CDC processes to ensure accurate and reliable data movement.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python or similar technologies.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data quality issues.
• Ensure robust testing practices across cloud-based data platforms while supporting continuous delivery initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with SQL, data validation, and ETL/ELT testing.
• Experience with test automation using Python or similar programming languages.
• Good understanding of data quality concepts, CDC patterns, schema evolution, and data integrity principles.
• Exposure to AWS services such as Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, DMS, or similar cloud technologies is preferred.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/Aurora, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, or financial data systems will be an added advantage.
