Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Python Backend Developer with strong experience in Python, AWS, REST API development, and Databricks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing scalable backend applications, cloud-native integrations, and data platform services while ensuring high availability, performance, scalability, and observability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for platform and integration services.
• Build and manage workloads using Databricks.
• Develop and support Databricks-to-HBase integrations.
• Design and implement secure, scalable multi-tenant backend solutions.
• Implement monitoring, logging, dashboards, and observability solutions.
• Monitor application performance and proactively resolve production issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including platform, cloud, and engineering teams.
• Follow AWS best practices for security, scalability, reliability, and cost optimization.

Required Skills

• 5 15 years of hands-on experience in Python Backend Development.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services (EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Strong experience in REST API development.
• 6 months to 2 years of hands-on experience with Databricks.
• Good understanding of distributed systems and cloud-native application development.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with HBase integration.
• Knowledge of Spark and Databricks clusters.
• Experience with monitoring, logging, dashboards, and observability tools.
• Experience designing multi-tenant applications.
• Exposure to cloud-native architectures, microservices, and performance optimization.

Important Note

This is strictly a Python Backend Developer role.
