Job Description & Responsibilities

*Hiring: Project Manager – Manufacturing Kolkata apply NOWN Location: Kolkata Head Office NEAR BBD BAGH Travel: PAN India (if required)*

*Salary: Up to ₹50-60 k per month Experience: 5–10+ Years*

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and execute turnkey projects across India. Candidates with a strong background in Manufacturing, Industrial Projects, Heavy Engineering, or Industrial Construction are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Progress Management

Act as the primary point of contact for clients.

Ensure project milestones are achieved within agreed timelines.

Conduct regular client meetings and progress reviews.

Manage customer expectations and resolve project-related issues.

Site Leadership

Lead project teams across multiple project locations.

Supervise site activities and ensure adherence to project plans.

Maintain safety, quality, and compliance standards at project sites.

Operational Oversight

Coordinate with engineering, procurement, production, and site teams.

Monitor project schedules and resource utilization.

Ensure smooth execution of turnkey projects from initiation to commissioning.

Financial Control

Monitor project budgets, costs, and profitability.

Control project expenditures and optimize resource allocation.

Track billing, collections, and vendor payments.

Reporting & Analytics

Prepare project status reports and MIS.

Analyze project performance and identify improvement opportunities.

Present updates to management and clients.

Required Qualifications & Profile

B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred) or Civil Engineering.

5–10+ years of relevant project execution experience.

Experience in Manufacturing, Industrial Construction, Turnkey Projects, or Heavy Engineering environments.

Strong expertise in site management, project planning, execution, and stakeholder coordination.

Experience handling Government project sites, compliance, documentation, liaisoning, and approvals will be an added advantage.

Willingness to travel extensively and manage PAN India project sites.
