Job Title : Principle Data Engineer

Experience : 12 to 17 Years

Location : Mumbai

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-scale data engineering solutions and data platforms.
• Build and optimize scalable ETL pipelines, data warehouses, and analytics solutions.
• Drive adoption of GenAI, AI/ML, and automation technologies for data processing, reporting, and business insights.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define data strategies and technical solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to data engineering teams.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance across the data lifecycle.
• Implement modern SDLC practices, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and agile delivery methodologies.
• Manage stakeholder communication, project execution, and risk mitigation activities.
• Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and best practices in data engineering and analytics.
• Support enterprise reporting, financial analytics, and regulatory data requirements.

Requisites

• Bachelor//'s or Master//'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Robust expertise in Python, SQL, Data Modeling, ETL Development, and Data Warehousing.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as Snowflake and modern data engineering tools.
• Strong understanding of finance, investment banking, financial reporting, and analytics domains.
• Hands-on experience with GenAI, LLMs, AI-powered automation, and data engineering solutions.
• Experience building scalable data pipelines, enterprise analytics platforms, and reporting systems.
• Knowledge of SDLC, CI/CD, Agile methodologies, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
• Experience with data governance, security, compliance, and data quality frameworks.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Power BI, Apache Airflow, OLAP tools, Shell Scripting, and workflow automation is an advantage.
