Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Principal DevOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure, comprising 800+ services across multiple environments and regions (US, Europe, and APAC). The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the operational efficiency, performance, and cost-effectiveness of our cloud infrastructure, while also driving compliance with FedRAMP requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Cloud Infrastructure Optimization:
• Lead the analysis, design, and optimization of AWS resources to ensure cost efficiency, performance, and operational excellence.
• Design and implement scalable and reliable EKS (Kubernetes) clusters for service orchestration.
• Database Management:
• Architect and optimize Salt Lake database management solutions for high availability, performance, and security.
• Log Management & Monitoring:
• Design and implement Loki Stack solutions for efficient log management and analysis.
• Optimize Prometheus, Tempo, and Grafana for metrics, tracing, and alerting.
• FedRAMP Compliance:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with FedRAMP requirements.
• Develop and implement strategies to maintain compliance across all cloud resources and services.
• Technical Leadership:
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to DevOps teams.
• Drive innovation and transformation in cloud infrastructure and services.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud computing (AWS), and containerization (Kubernetes).

• Proven expertise in EKS, Salt Lake, Loki Stack, Prometheus, Tempo, and Grafana.
• Experience with FedRAMP compliance and GovCloud.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong technical leadership and communication skills.*Preferred Qualifications:*- Experience with large-scale cloud infrastructure and service management.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks.
• Certification in AWS, Kubernetes, or related fields.
