Job Role : PPC Manager

Production Planning & Scheduling

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer requirements and delivery commitments.
• Review order status, stock availability, and delivery schedules to ensure timely execution.
• Maintain and update production planning records and micro-planning sheets.
• Verify production requirements against standard specifications and customer drawings.

Process Coordination

• Coordinate closely with Planning, Production, Quality, and Packing departments to ensure smooth workflow and on-time dispatch.
• Monitor production progress and address bottlenecks impacting delivery schedules.
• Ensure adherence to production plans and operational targets.

Material & Inventory Management

• Monitor stock availability for upcoming orders.
• Verify balance coil records, leftover materials, and scrap generation after job completion.
• Analyze material shortages, excess consumption, and utilization trends.
• Support implementation of systems for production and inventory tracking.

Productivity & Cost Control

• Review slitting plans and ensure minimum scrap generation.
• Track daily Production vs. Plan performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Monitor machine utilization and manpower efficiency to maximize productivity.
• Prepare monthly reports on:
• Production vs. Scrap Analysis
• Production vs. Dispatch Performance
• Material Shortage & Excess Analysis

Continuous Improvement

• Coordinate with Production Managers, Quality Engineers, and Machine Supervisors to identify recurring operational issues.
• Conduct weekly review meetings with engineers and supervisors.
• Recommend and implement corrective actions to improve machine efficiency and process performance.
• Organize training sessions for operators and supervisors whenever required.
