Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Researcher position in the area of Multimodal Data Analysis for Low-Resource Languages.

Research Focus

• Multimodal AI (Text, Speech, Image, and Video)
• Large Language Models (LLMs) and Multimodal LLMs
• Low-Resource and Indian Languages
• Multimodal Representation Learning

Number of Postdoctoral Positions: 1

Fellowship Amount for Postdoc: As per the norms of the Institution.

Essential Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computational Linguistics, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong publication record in reputed journals/conferences.
• Research experience in NLP, Computer Vision, Speech Processing, Multimodal Machine Learning, Deep Learning, or Generative AI.
• Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch/TensorFlow.

Desirable Skills

• Experience with Hugging Face models, LLMs, Vision-Language Models, and Indian language technologies.
• Hands-on experience in dataset creation, model fine-tuning, and multimodal foundation models.
