Role Description The Owner role is a full-time, on-site position based in Madhya Pradesh, India, responsible for overseeing all operational, financial, and strategic activities of the firm. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising client engagements related to accounting, auditing, taxation, and compliance, as well as reviewing key deliverables to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards. The Owner manages client relationships, provides guidance on complex financial and tax matters, and leads business development initiatives to expand the firm’s client base. This role involves directing staff workloads, mentoring team members, setting performance expectations, and ensuring that internal processes are efficient and aligned with professional standards. The Owner also monitors changes in financial regulations and tax laws, implements best practices, and makes decisions that support sustainable growth and high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong knowledge of accounting standards, auditing practices, and tax regulations.
• Experience managing client portfolios, delivering advisory services, and handling complex financial and compliance matters.
• Proven ability to lead teams, allocate workloads, mentor staff, and maintain a collaborative and ethical work environment.
• Strong business development, client communication, and relationship management skills to support firm growth.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Familiarity with accounting and tax software, proficiency in MS Office tools, and comfort working with digital documentation.
• Ability to work on-site full time in Madhya Pradesh, India, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced professional services setting.
• Prior experience in running or managing a professional services firm or practice is highly beneficial.
